ok so one day i was wandering around some music blogs and i thought to myself, wow this sucks, i keep finding the same stuff over and over. so obviously i figured that i could do better and made one myself. there are shitloads of music blogs out there that provide the mainstream to faintly "indie" music, but not many go the extra mile. so the difference between this music blog and the other billion that are out there is that i will generally post artists and bands that have less than 5,000 listeners on last.fm. clearly these groups are the ones who need supporting so when i can i'll be linking to amazon. a lot of the time the bands featured here produce their albums out of their own pockets so if you've got some spare dosh, buy their pretty cheap music and help them break even. so if you want to check out impossibly obscure music that will knock your socks off, this is the place for you. i don't take requests, i just post as i find them, so you have to trust me. you have to add this journal if you want to see the posts. fyi: i will mainly use mediafire to host the music all records will be indexed through tags don't even bother if you expect "indie" music like death cab, the arcade fire, of montreal, etc. OVERALL TOP ARTISTS WEEKLY TOP ARTISTS
